This is the opening sequence for the film Vertigo, which was created by Saul Bass. I think the effects that he used in this sequence really represent the theme, vertigo. I think this because at first there is a shot of the eyes and then the swirling patterns coming from the eyes give a sense of vertigo. Then the siluette spinning on the floor also adds to the theme.
